Crash Matting

PME's climbing wall mats are custom made to suit your application. Properly designed and fitted mats are safer and more durable than 'off-the-shelf' solutions.

The covers are made from either 600 gsm or 850 gsm pvc. The 600 gsm fabric has a smooth finish, whislst the 850 gsm fabric has a woven appearance and is best suited to heavy duty applications. The base and sides are usually made from pvc mesh which allows the air to be expelled and protects the seams. Other features include velco closures for fitting the foam, eyelets and cover tensioning straps. All seams are double sewn and hot air taped.

The matting is filled with either 30 or 50 Kg/cubic metre fire-retardent polyeurathane foam. The density and thickness depending upon the fall height.
